The Hub on the Hill is thrilled to announce that it is now able to accept SNAP Online payments through its website and is the first food hub in the nation to achieve this!

Being able to offer SNAP Online as a payment method opens up food access for members of our community and is important to the Hub’s mission to support, strengthen, and build equity within our local food system.

Combined with our ability to provide home delivery, SNAP Online at the Hub increases accessibility in our rural region for individuals who may be home-bound or face transportation barriers, and for those who live in food deserts where there are no grocery stores nearby.

The road to get here was a challenging one, as the process to become an approved vendor is rigorous and technologically complex for a food hub. To say this would not be possible without the partners who provided the administrative, financial, and tech support would be an understatement. Using SNAP Online at the Hub

To checkout with SNAP Online, you must login or register a Hub user account. When checking out, use the following steps:

1. Add items to your cart, confirm your delivery location eligibility, and continue checkout as normal.

2. On the payment page, select "Pay with EBT/SNAP and Credit/Debit Cards"

3. When asked, enter your EBT card number and PIN. On this page, you will be shown the amount eligible in your cart to be purchased using SNAP. Enter the amount you would like to pay with SNAP.

4. If you need to use additional funds, you will be given the opportunity to use EBT cash or to add a credit card in the next steps.

*If you participate in AdkAction's Fair Food Program, and are paying with both SNAP and PEX, enter your PEX number as a credit card here.*
